Winter Vacation

This winter vacation, I did a lot of things.

On 23th, I went to KICHIRI, which is a Japanese casual dining Hitomi Takeuchi works at, with Yuri Yoshida, Matsu, Chotaro, and Arayan to have supper and alcohol. I often hang out with them, and we sometimes get together in a bar and talk about a lot of things. We were there for about 4 hours, and after that, we went to Ring, which has Karaoke, pool, table tennis, massage chair, abd so forth. From midnight to 7 a.m. we stayed and enjoyed there. After that, we went to rental-car shop, and drove to the south of Osaka. At first, we went to Osaka aquarium in the morning. After that, we drove to the Osaka Castle for sightseeing, and went back to Hirakata in the evening. Then, we went shopping in Kuzuha. At night, we went to Umeda just for a drive.

We went to a lot of places in a day, and we were very tired and sleepy, but it was a great memory of the winter vacation.

On Christmas Eve, I was working until 1 a.m. and spent there with my peers.

On Christmas, I was with my girlfriend, and went shopping in Umeda, after that, we had supper in a bar, and went to see a Chrismas tree.

It was the very happy day to spend with my girlfriend.

On new year eve, I went to Kyoto with my girlfriend, and went shopping in Kawara-machi. After that, we went to Internet Cafe, and enjoyed thepool, and table tennis, and watched TV. After the count down, we went to Yasaka shrine. There were a lot of people, but we managed to reacht there, adn we wished in front of the main part of the shrine. We were in Kyoto untill the morning to see a morning light.

The rest of the days, I was working...

The dangerous celphone

Yesterday, when I was putting a drawer of my desk in order, I found an unbelievable sight in there. These are the pictures of the sight.

This is the cellphone that I used to have, and this cellphone was left in the drawer of my desk. It has swelled so much that it wight explode. It is really scary.
I will go to cellphone shop with this cellphone to get it fixed someday.
I really wonder what was the cause of swelling.
Anyway I had better not touch this cellphone any more. It might explode if I touch it violently.

By the way, the other days, Yuhei got the new cellphone, and I really envy him. I want to buy a new cellphone. However, I can not afford to buy it now.

Me and Another me

These days, I am really busy with a large amount of assignments, and part-time job. Also, I have some mental agony, and often I can not concentrate on anything I do. I think this term of my life is the worst but challenging days. I am lost in my life... Now I understand what Suguru used to say always, his famous quote. However, I will change and make it alright for sure.

Today, I would like to show the old picture of mine.
The girl next to me is my sister.
The picture was taken on Novenber 15, the gala day for boys of three and five and girls ofthree and seven.
I do not exactly remember where the location was, but it was maybe Ibaraki shrine nearby my house.
Don't you think I look really cute???
I am often said, "You are little different from yourself in the old days." Maybe it is true. I am as cute as what I used to be.
It dose not matterlol.
I wish I could go back to this term of my life, without any distress and worries.

Long night

Last weekend, I had a really good time.

I went to a banquet of my workplace. One of my coworkers held it, and almost all the members gathered except our boss, because he did not invite our boss; we do not like our boss.

The banquet was held at "anzu" in Ibaraki. The mood there was comfortable and they serve a lot of delicious and unique foods and tasty alcohol.

There were 15 people there, and we all drank some alcohol and talked and enjoyed for 5 hours. It was really fun, and everyone became more friendly and our relation got closer.

After that, we were a little drunk. Some people went to Karaoke in Ibaraki, and others did not. I did not go and 3 other men did not either, because we wanted to go to play bowling. One of our coworker who did not come to the banquet came to pick us by car, because he was the only man who was being sober. By his car, we went to Karaoke just to say goodbye to everyone, and after that, we went to play bowling and pool. And then, we decided to go for a drive to Awaji-shima to see Akashi-Kaikyo-Ohashi. The bridge is the second longest bridge in Japan bridging between Hyogo and Awaji-shima, and the full length is about 4 kilo meters long.

We arrived the bridge at 5 o'clock, and enjoyed the beautiful night view. After we passed it, we arrived Awaji-shima. We enjoyed driving, and the sun was beginning to rise and the view was also beautiful. After we drove around there, we drove back to our hometown, Ibaraki and Takatsuki. When we arrived, it was 10 a.m. We enjoyed very much, and I am looking forward to the next banquet.

Basketball match

On Saturday, I had a basketball match between SWISH and a team named KYONYU. The team is improvised by my friends from my junior high school youth. I wanted to have more practice matches against a lot of teams and I asked my friends to shoot some hoop with us. They are from Osaka Economic and Legal University, and Otemon University, and so on.

Girls in SWISH had a match against a team which is consisted f several girls from Otemon University, and one of them is my friend's friend.

All of opponents belong to basketball club, not circle. That means they practice basletball almost everyday, so they were really good at playing basketball.

The result was about 40-70, we lost.
Girls lost at the score about 29-31.

Though we lost, it was a great experience for us.

Also, as most of opponents were my friends, I was really happy to see them again. And I felt like going back to junior high school days, like we were again in the same team.

About the article "Alone at a time of danger"

This is about how the author is trying to persuade readers in the article “Alone at a time of danger.” He starts his opinion by explaining one example that really struck him. He suggests that one man who was interviewed did nothing while the crime was happening. he used one of the real stories of the fact that people feel troublesome or indifferent to helping others. According to the article, “he didn't go investigate, he didn't even call the police, and he did nothing.” It is obvious that the man did nothing by knowing his behaviors in de tail. This example is detailed because the author said this problem really struck him and happened in Kawaguchi City, Saitama. Emotional appeal was used in this first paragraph.

He again raised another fact that shows how troublesome people feel about helping other people. Though there are no clear details about the situation where people witnessed the victim being dragged away, there is a statement “all the passengers looked on”, and this statement proves how obvious people are reluctant to help people in danger.

These 2 will be the authority, and he suggests his own solution to make us understand the fact seriously.

The response to the article about the new law in Japan

Regarding the article about Japanese new system of reinforcing country’s security “Not so welcome to Japan any longer”, Kevin Rafferty suggests that the new law of immigration is a failure that Japanese government has committed, and this law would give foreign countries a bad impression toward Japan. However, the reinforcing of security should be put priority rather than considering the views of other countries, because there are more and more terrorists invading into a country and cause some dangers in the modern society all over the world, and it is getting a seruious problem, like in U.K., U.S., to say nothing of Japan.

What is the first priority is to take measures to enhance the system of protecting a country, and consider the countermeasures against possible dangers like terrorism. It does not mean this system of new law is discriminating against people who would be examined; just a precise countermeasure.
