Tenjin-matsuri

This is the last blog of 1st semester.

On July 25th, I went to Tejin-matsuri with my girlfriend and two friends of mine. Do you know it? It is one of the most famous summer festivals in Japan, and it is in Osaka. Many stalls are opened during the festival, such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, yakisoba, shaved ice, fried chicken, beer, and some alcohol. Also, we can see fireworks there. To see fireworks is a main event for many people. In fact, we went there to see fireworks.

When we arrived at Temma-bashi station nearby the place of the festival, we had a lot of tme to spare before fireworks lanched, so we walked around there to spare time. We spent our pocket money on some foods and sweets at many stalls. When we walked around buildings, we happened to see Mrs.Devi Scarno. It was surprising, because she looked me in the eyes, and waved her hands to us. We were really exciting at the moment.

After time went by, we walked all the way to look for and keep the place where we can see fireworks. However, there were soooooooooooo many people that we got tired from walking. Finally we ended in sitting on a street. Many people were also sitting down on a street. However, when fireworks started, 4 of us and many people near us realized that we could not see them because we were in a bad location to see fireworks. We moved to see them, but we had to walk through a very big crowd. It was really hot and complex and frustrating to walk through the crowd. In the end, we decided to go back to the station before it would be too crowded to get a train to go home. Even though we could hardly see fireworks, we enjoyed so much. I want to go to the festival next year, too.

And I will enjoy this summer vacation.
